One of Chase Park Rehabilitation Team’s key roles is to promote, facilitate and enable social opportunities and inclusion for our clients.
Our Opportunities Team ensures therapeutic goals and lifestyle choices can be extended into a wide range of activities throughout the day within Chase Park and the wider community.
The Opportunities Team support our clients in transferring the skills they acquire into their lifestyles. The service is tailored to a very individual level led by the lifestyle choices each client wishes to make. Bespoke one to one programmes are developed to meet individual client needs.
The Opportunities Team make full use of the facilities offered by the Newcastle-Gateshead conurbation which provides a huge range of facilities and attractions. The area is surrounded by beautiful countryside and the east coast. More locally the adjacent Whickham Park offers an easily accessed tranquil getaway.
The Centre, the Health Club, Multimedia/Entertainment Suite and our own accessible transport provides many choices for activities both relaxing and more challenging. Regular holidays, days out, college courses, art projects and vocational opportunities are just some of the services facilitated by the Opportunities team.
